Slightly Robot detects the orientation of your forearm when you hold your arm still in a calibrated position. It does not detect movement. If the bracelet is held in a certain orientation for long enough then the bracelet will vibrate.
To add a calibration, make sure your device is connected to the Slightly Robot app and you're on the Bracelet 1, Bracelet 2 or Smartwatch screen. Place your hand in the position you pick/bite/pull from and then press ADD CALIBRATION to add a calibration. From now on the bracelet will vibrate whenever you hold that position in the future. You can delete a calibration by clicking on the calibration and then pressing DELETE CALIBRATION.
You can have as many calibrations as you want. The more calibrations you add, the more different orientations the bracelet will vibrate from. You should only calibrate the bracelet for hand positions you're likely to pick/bite/pull from. We suggest that you start by adding one of two calibrations, and then adding more whenever you notice the bracelet should be vibrating but isn't.
You can adjust how sensitive an individual calibration is by clicking on the calibration and then sliding the Sensitivity slider toward broad or narrow. If you slide the slider towards narrow it will react to fewer positions near the calibrated position. If you slide the slider towards broad it will react to more positions near the calibrated one. Each calibration has its own sensitivity slider.
The Slightly Robot bracelet only vibrates if you hold a position for long enough. By default, you must hold a calibrated position for one second before the bracelet will vibrate. You can find this trigger time in the app's settings tab. If the bracelet is vibrating more often than you'd like to then you can increase this time to 2, 4 or even 10 seconds.
